Just a brief follow-up to the divine Pumpkin-Pecan Pie post: It tastes even better the next day, as does the Whiskey Butter Sauce. How perfect is that? A dessert that really is better made ahead!

We were so inspired by the delicious meal that we had to roast a ch***** (in deference to the girls). No pie though, and just lookiing at this poto makes me drool (and I'm not even napping. . .) it was that good.
