We bought a second water jug for the chickens, to make sure they always have a good supply of water available, one inside, one outside. This one is metal, and they seem fascinated by it. Who knows what transipres in the brain of a chicken.

Hey there,
From Berkeley, CA. I just bought a water dispenser just like yours. I also decided there needed to be more than one, one for the coop and one outside the coop for when the ladies are out free-ranging on bug patrol. I may get more and put them in different places in the yard. I've decided they need to be in shady spots because the galvanized steel can really warm up that water. Would you want to drink warm water on a hot summer day?
