The valerian is blooming like crazy right now, and attracting all kinds of pollinators. I love the way it looks against our garden shed -- somehow the warped and rotting siding looks romantic through the screen of the lovely flowers. That's a change from my usual state of fretting over when we'll have time and cash available to replace the shed siding.Walking this morning with my friend Lynn --who is a great photographer and posts many of her photos to her blog Pics-elated --inspired me to post a flower shot.
